• PDA Education launches support programme for trainee pharmacists

  The PDA supports members in every stage of their career. In order to help trainee pharmacists with their assessment in June, the PDA has developed four programmes that are completely free to trainee members. 

• PDA trainee pharmacist members attend the STUC Youth Conference 2023

  On 1 and 2 July 2023 two Scotland based PDA trainee pharmacist members represented the PDA at the 83rd STUC Youth conference. One member spoke at the conference on fighting fascism in Scotland and the work they did while holding the role of Honorary Secretary of the PDA LGBT+ Network.

• Trainee pharmacists: sign up to the ACTNow wellbeing campaign

  The PDA is once again encouraging all trainee pharmacists to join Pharmacist Support’s ACTNow campaign, which is running from 22 – 26 May. The campaign aims to encourage trainees to prioritise their wellbeing, especially in the run-up to the assessment.

• ACTNow wellbeing campaign supports trainees in the lead up to the GPhC assessment

  The PDA is supporting the trainee pharmacist ACTNow campaign run by Pharmacist Support which launches today. The campaign this year focuses on helping trainees to feel mentally prepared in the run-up to their assessment. It also helps them to get ready for life as a fully qualified pharmacist.  

• PDA Education receives positive member feedback

  The PDA Education Hub is an online platform that provides free training to PDA members. The PDA has always wanted to ensure that members are supported in a wide range of ways and the delivery of the Education Hub to be part of this support was accelerated due to the global pandemic.

  The GPhC has issued guidance regarding the process leading up to the assessments to be held on the 27, 28 & 29 July, including practice questions and information for the day of the exam.
