The PDA is encouraging members to take part in the 2026 ACTNow campaign, an annual wellbeing initiative delivered by the PDA's charity partner, Pharmacist Support.

Tue 27th October 2026 The PDA

Running from 2 to 15 November 2026, the free campaign aims to help pharmacists and pharmacy teams prioritise their mental health and wellbeing through practical resources, activities and support.

Working in pharmacy can be rewarding, but increasing workplace pressures, growing demands and the challenge of balancing professional and personal responsibilities can all have an impact on wellbeing. ACTNow encourages individuals and teams across all pharmacy settings to take positive action, create supportive working environments, and make wellbeing part of everyday practice.

This year’s campaign will focus on both personal and workplace wellbeing, providing access to free digital resources, interactive activities, podcasts and social media content designed to help participants build healthy habits and support their mental health.

Pharmacist Support is an independent charity that provides free and confidential support to pharmacists and pharmacy students. Its mission is to ensure that no one in the pharmacy family faces challenging times alone.

Why wellbeing matters

Wellbeing is about more than happiness. It includes good mental health, a sense of purpose, life satisfaction, and the ability to cope with stress. Investing in wellbeing can contribute to greater resilience, improved physical health and better outcomes both at work and at home.

As a long-standing supporter of Pharmacist Support, the PDA is pleased to promote initiatives that help pharmacists prioritise their wellbeing and access the support available to them.
