Financial statement to members – 2020

Under the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992 (Amended), the PDA Union is required to circulate to all members key financial information along with details of the salary and benefits provided to the President, General Secretary and any other members of the National Executive Committee.

Lloyds pharmacists pass first test on road to union recognition

Pharmacists at LloydsPharmacy (Lloyds) have made significant progress towards trade union recognition as the government body that oversees the process has formally accepted their application. The process now moves forward to decide which pharmacists will be included in the bargaining unit.

Boots prison pharmacists to be transferred to Sodexo

Pharmacists employed by Boots in several prisons are having their employment transferred to a subsidiary of the French multinational Sodexo that provides custodial and post-release services to the UK Ministry of Justice, including directly managing several prisons.
