The Chief Pharmaceutical Officer (CPhO) for Wales has offered community pharmacy contractors a funding uplift on the condition of an increase in pay for some staff by at least the amount currently being imposed upon NHS employees.

Members where NHS pay increase results in reduced take-home pay

The PDA are highlighting that some members employed by the NHS face a situation where the pay increase will result in them receiving less take home pay each month, and due to the increase being backdated they now need to repay money to their employer.
