Pharmacists apprenticeship development has been “paused”

The PDA and GHP wrote to Skills for Health and issued a joint statement on 25th November 2019 outlining the concerns of pharmacists about the apprenticeship proposals. Skills for Health, today announced, on behalf of the employer group that is seeking to develop a pharmacist apprenticeship, that the development of their proposal is going to be "paused".

Latest PDA members’ donation to pharmacist charity

PDA have donated another eleven thousand pounds to the pharmacist support charity. The money comes from members topping up their membership fees with donations and the £1 for each member that the PDA donates each year.

PDA is supporting members that are being transferred out of Boots
