VACCINATIONS: All vaccinations delivered by suitably trained pharmacists have always been covered by indemnity insurance as part of the standard PDA membership apart from Covid-19. For new membership renewals after January 1st, 2026, Covid-19 vaccinations are now also automatically covered.

    For the fourth year in a row, the PDA LGBT+ Network proudly joined thousands of others in the heart of Manchester to celebrate Pride 2025, continuing their commitment to visibility, inclusion, and solidarity within the pharmacy profession.  

  • PDA BAME Network comments on NHS pay disparity review

    The NHS Race and Health Observatory (RHO) commission is due to do a review of the ‘unjust’ NHS ethnic pay gap. The PDA BAME Network has commented on this project and welcomes the review, as it hopes to see change within the NHS.

  • Sir Keir Starmer responds to the PDA BAME Network’s letter regarding the Immigration White Paper

    Following the launch of the government’s latest Immigration White Paper and in particular the comments made on 12 May 2025 at the press conference about the risk of the UK becoming “an island of strangers” rather than “a nation that walks forward together,” members of the PDA BAME Network felt it appropriate to add their voices to those expressing concern about some of the narrative used by the UK government.

  • Celebrating 5 years of the PDA EDI Networks

    This month, three PDA Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Networks turn 5: the Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic Pharmacists’ Network (BAME Network), the Disabled Pharmacists’ Network (Ability Network), and the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Pharmacists’ Network (LGBT+ Network). 

  • NAWP Network shares Fawcett Society initiative on using storytelling to enact change

    In celebration of International Women’s Day 2025, former NAWP President Naina Chotai shares her experience of attending a Fawcett Society talk “Storytelling and Activism through a Feminist Lens.” This event explored how documentaries and investigative journalism challenge injustice, amplify women’s voices, and drive feminist activism.
