On 6 March 2026, the PDA announced the results of its regional committee elections. This page will be updated shortly with regional committee members serving from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2031.
Charles Odiase (nec Regional Representative, SOUTH EAST)
I am a Consultant Pharmacist in Primary Care and Diabetes with extensive experience across hospital, community, PMOT, and general practice pharmacy sectors. I am a Centre for Advancing practice portfolio credentialed Advanced Clinical Practitioner, and an active non-medical prescriber with both generalist and specialist expertise.
I am the South East Regional Representative on the NEC. Having achieved my main career goals, my motivation for joining the NEC is simple: to serve pharmacists and ensure transparency in leadership. My experiential and educational expertise in clinical practice, leadership, research, and education has prepared me to contribute meaningfully to the PDA Union. As we navigate an increasingly challenging future as pharmacists, I am committed to ensuring that pharmacists are heard, valued, and empowered to shape the profession we all believe in and love.
Andrew Jukes (Hospital Pharmacy, Brighton/South East)
My main area of practice has been in both NHS and Private Hospital Pharmacy. I also have experience in community and prison pharmacy. My main area of interest in pharmacy is risk reduction for patients and staff, via the creation of optimal working environments. I also have an interest in, and believe that team participation, effective communication, training and development underpin the safer working agenda.
I have been involved in the development of the PDA ‘Safer Pharmacy Charter’ for both the community and hospital sectors. The principles set out in each are the foundation of operating a safe pharmacy that supports our members and patients in those areas of practice. Overall, I strive to develop networks so that colleagues can undertake their work safely and efficiently.
BAYO ADEGBITE (LOCUM COMMUNITY PHARMACIST, SOUTH EAST)

Hi, fellow PDA Union members! My name is Bayo Adegbite and I am a Locum Community Pharmacist in South East England. I have many years of experience across both multiple and independent community pharmacies and I have joined the Regional Committee to improve the working lives of PDA Union locums in particular, and increase recruitment of new PDA Union members.
Fasi Payman (Hospital Pharmacist, London)

I initially completed my pre-registration training in community pharmacy before moving to an NHS hospital upon qualification, where I undertook my post-graduate clinical diploma. I have held various roles in the hospital sector, from working as a Specialist Pharmacist in Haematology, Oncology, & Aseptic Services, to my current role as a Senior member of the Post-Acute & Planned Medicine team at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in London. I have a genuine passion for pharmacy and the profession; I spend most, if not all, of my weekends and days off from my full-time job undertaking locum shifts in the community sector across the South East of England, in order to be aware of the current challenges pharmacists face across all sectors, and to network with members across the region.
I believe my current and front-line experience of issues faced by PDA members across multiple sectors, paired with my passion for driving improvement in our profession, places me in the best position to ensure you are fairly represented and your concerns addressed. The PDA has relentlessly represented their members’ issues & concerns ever since I first joined over six years ago. To be elected as a Regional Committee Member for the largest pharmacists’ membership organisation in the UK, and to lead by example to make a positive difference in our profession, is a privilege.
Hala Jawad (Community Pharmacist, Boots Pharmacy Gatwick airport)

I have had a very varied pharmacy career in non-traditional roles but have also worked in both primary care and community pharmacy. I have been a PDA Union member since graduation and although fairly new to Boots, I am confident I can use my wider experience to develop this new role. I am a Regional Representative for Airports and Stations and am the London Divisional Representative as part of the PDA Reps Network in Boots. I am excited to use these experiences as a PDA Union Regional and Divisional representative to support and represent my pharmacist colleagues and help bring about positive change.
Siddiqur Rahman (Primary Care, SOUTH EAST)

I am a primary care GP pharmacist rep in the South East region for the PDA Union. I have been a PDA member since pre-reg in 2006 and have worked mainly as a locum pharmacist in community pharmacies for a decade until I made the switch to work in a different sector in general practice since 2016. I am easily accessible across multiple social media platforms including The Pharmacist Cooperative.
I have co-presented a PDA Union online webinar to showcase why pharmacists across all sectors should join a union and why GP/PCN pharmacists should have their own separate indemnity arrangements in addition to the state-backed scheme. I have featured in the PDA BAME #GetVaccinated video to encourage patients to get their Covid-19 vaccination and recently co-wrote what it’s like behind the scenes, as a PDA Union Regional Committee Member.
Being elected as a PDA Union Regional Committee Member, I endeavour to ensure fair representation for our members and that the advancement of our profession meets and exceeds the needs of our entire pharmacy profession and also help to support grassroots pharmacists working tirelessly on the ground daily.
Nav Bhogal (Community Pharmacist, Boots Oxted, Surrey)

I’m a community pharmacist of 20 years and have undertaken a variety of roles within Boots, where I am also part of the PDA Reps Network. I look forward to using the experience attained in my new role as a committee regional representative for the PDA in both providing support and representing the views of pharmacists within my region.
Eddie Njenga (Community pharmacist, South East)

I am a pharmacist committed to providing traditionally good healthcare services to our community. I value our pharmacist workforce and enthusiasm thus strive to ensure their working conditions are conducive to providing the best healthcare and social wellbeing support. I have recently expanded my pharmacy skills to hospital outpatients’ services to support our pharmacists within this sector.
